Iruya. Northern Argentina

After spending a night in beautiful village of Humahuaca we rushed to Iruya. This tiny village is only 70 km away from Humahuaca, but the trip through a very dangerous road lasts 3 hours. We were going down the tiny road on a very huge bus which didn’t seem to be very adequate for this particular road which seemed to be suitable only for a car. Moreover, as the rainy season had already begun in many places the road was flooded by mountain rivers.

All three hours we were amazed by the amazing views that surrounded us. Iruya was absolutely stunning, it was so worth going there and having some scary moments while traveling.
